The UK's home improvement marketplace.
B&Q opened its marketplace on diy.com in 2022, built on Mirakl, to give shoppers a far wider range of DIY, home and garden products than its stores can hold. Sellers are invited and verified by B&Q to fit alongside its own range, so the marketplace is curated rather than open to anyone. Shoppers come to diy.com with a project in mind: a new bathroom, a garden, a set of tools. They compare offers on the same product page and buy from the seller that looks best.

How selling on B&Q Marketplace works.
Each product on diy.com has one page. Any approved seller can add an offer to it with their own price, stock and delivery. You manage your offers and orders in the B&Q seller portal on Mirakl, and you ship the orders yourself.
- One product page, many sellers: a rival can join your product and list below you
- Offers carry price, stock, delivery cost and lead time, all of which shoppers compare
- Your catalogue, offers and orders all sit in Mirakl, which is what PriceSynergy reads
B&Q takes a commission on each sale, agreed when you join and varying by category. PriceSynergy reads the commission on every order line from Mirakl, so the profit behind each suggestion is after B&Q's cut, not before it.
Who wins the PayBox on diy.com.
The PayBox goes to the cheapest live offer on a product. When a rival lists a penny below you, they take it. PriceSynergy compares your price with every rival's on every diy.com product you sell, and works out the price that wins it back.
- Cheapest, joint cheapest, undercut or only seller, on every live offer
- How far you're undercut, in pounds and per cent
- The price that wins, flagged if it's below your min price or break-even

Who you compete with on diy.com.
B&Q shows competitors' shop names, so PriceSynergy builds a directory of every seller on your products: how many products they share with you, where they undercut you and where they hold the PayBox.

Selling on B&Q Marketplace with PriceSynergy
Can PriceSynergy see who holds the PayBox on diy.com?
Yes. The PayBox goes to the cheapest live offer, and every plan shows whether you hold it on every product you sell, who's cheaper and by how much.
Does it work with my B&Q seller account?
Yes. PriceSynergy connects through B&Q's own Mirakl API with your shop's API key, the same way B&Q's approved integrations do. You don't share your seller portal password.
Will PriceSynergy change my prices on B&Q?
Only if you want it to. It shows the price to set and why. On Growth and Scale you can send approved prices to Mirakl, each one checked against your min, max and break-even first.
How quickly will I see my B&Q data?
The same day. Once your shop goes live, the first catalogue, competitor and order scans start immediately.
